heey… how do we know this isn’t Kopi luwak coffee? y’know… that coffee whose beans have passed through the digestive system of an Asian palm civet (cat)…?
“Whats the matter Fluffy, don’t you like my coffee?”
“It’s not that, it’s the caffeine I could do without.”
I believe that the cat is trying to save such a delicious treat for later, and it needs to cover the smell to prevent other animals from smelling the awesomeness and coming to steal it.
Had a cat that would do that with cat treats. Hated them.
But he absolutely loved getting a few drops of olive brine on a spoon.
Wondering, no doubt, where the hell the gin and vermouth were…
Could this be a case of effect precedes cause?
I feel the same way about coffee, but you don’t see me going around trying to dispose of it.
Funny, I came here to say, “how do we know it isn’t shit?”
One of my mom’s parents’ Siamese, Bub (Beelzebub, that is), went crazy whenever he was given an olive pit. He played with them like toys, batted & chased 'em all over the place and acted like he was getting high from catnip.
Mine does this too!
