Without weighing in on the incandescent/CFL/LED debate I just wanted to share this, the first hybrid lighting fixture.

The Cree bulbs mentioned by some other commenters are okay, but I’ve had better success with the Utilitech brand. They seem to give a full dimming range, and with a minimum of buzzing/humming.
