It’s real easy to go on and on about “herd immunity” when you assume you and the people you love will be part of the “herd” and not the “collateral damage.” If the proponents of this were told “two out of ten of your immediate friends/family members will die, and you might be one of the two” I wonder if it would shut them up?

Once again, it comes down to greed and a lack of empathy, which has kept us where we are for the longest time.

(edit) and that 2 of 10 is if everyone gets the care they need. With an overloaded healthcare system that number will go up.
