I had a chance to tell her, and I still screwed it up.

None of them got away… Pan camera to large basement filled with shallow graves…

That’s going into a song!

“They thought they were coming for dinner,
little did they know they were here to stay.
Some thought to excuse themselves early,
but,
none of them got awaaaaaaaaaaaay.”

They’re doing it as a podcast rather than as a website app, because SESTA/FOSTA makes that too risky.

Chorus of a song I wrote over 30 years ago:

Leave the past alone
It’ll just disturb old wounds
Its a rule that covers lovers,
jobs, families and tombs

From the endless Wyndham Hill piano-synth background music, to the smarmy-lugubrious narrator, to the lo-fi sniffles of the first recorded “You left…& I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye…” I had to turn this off after less than one minute of fast-forwarding.
I would, however, be interested in reading or hearing less-heavily-curated versions of what folks would say to TOWGA. Mine would be something like:
“Thanks, you did me a favor, though I couldn’t see it at the time.”
