Reminds me of Simon (1980) - Marshall Brickmna’s film starring Alan Arkin - where the politicians were required to wear party hats.

I was ready to comment “What a time to be alive” but then I heard that computer-generated, soul-less voiceover and realized this is probably the sad future of journalism.

But the cat ears were funny so at least we’ll have that.
