As an aside. How liberal leaning is politifact? I ask because getting conservatives to listen hinges on them not being able to easily go ‘well you’re just cherrypicking.’

They’re not perfect, but, of the political focused fact-checkers out there, they’re pretty much at the top of the head where lack of bias is concerned.

They appear to lean towards the centre-right establishment Dems in motivation, but their fact-checking on actual objectively-verifiable stuff is usually reliable. They have an unfortunate habit of “fact checking” things that aren’t objective facts, though.
