Crappy phone pics. But seen while geocaching today.

There are lots in the area. Apparently they like the easy food from the nearby landfill and nearby sod farm/compost place.

Very cool indeed. At first I tought it was a pair of hawks. But then I noticed the white heads. Are these birds silent like ninjas or do they scream?

They make cute chirp sounds close to what seagulls sound like sometimes. The sound usually used for eagles in movies and TV is some other raptor.

ETA it is a red tailed hawk that gets used for TV and movies. Which is pretty impressive but not an eagle.
