Such a sweet bunny!
How old is she? Sheâs very expressive; such a beautiful girl!
Our daughter thinks 9 or 10. Theyâve had her for around 6 or more years and the rescue thought she was around 3 or 4 when they got her.
She tries explaining to people to think long and hard before getting a bunny as a pet, they are not easy to care for, they are prone to health issues and bunny vets are not cheap.
Mrs. Outside Feral, inside feralâs mom, and Mrs. Squirrell are really warming up to each other.
And whenever we start to think old man is getting worse he does something that surprises us.
Heâs having a hard time jumping up on the kitchen counter, he tries and then misses falling onto the floor.
We couldnât find him and got worried, he managed to get on top of the 6 foot high kennel thing we keep around just in case we need to separate Mr. Feral.
Donât I know if! I tell people the same thing: they are a lot of work and are not like taking care of a dog or cat. But they are well worth the effort for anyone who makes the commitment.
The doe enjoying the dayâs carrot greens treat.
The buck hanging out in front of the fireplace.
We set up the tree today. The bunnies were excited when the saw the boxes and couldnât wait until the tree was finished. The doe is a little upset about the presents in her nest.
DĂ©tente.
After a troubled start, the cats are experiencing an uneasy peace. It seems Xuxu is winning this feline cold war as he refuses to fight and spends the day sleeping or playing with his tiny stuffed rat toy.
Despite this, she doesnât bat an eye. She must be wondering what plan this fat cat is coming up with.
Psychdelic birds!
Thatâs a cool photo, I wish we didnât have to travel so far to see the big birds.
A few years ago we were at a wildlife refuge on Sanibel Island, I saw a group of pink birds and said to my wife, âHey, look at the flamingosâ, a group of bird watchers promptly educated me on the difference between a flamingo and a roseate spoonbill.
In my defense they were far away and pink. Hereâs one we came across a little closer to my camera in 2020.
Picture with Santa. The bunnies probably asked for bananas.
Santa has a bunny, two of the women helping Santa had bunnies, the photographer plans to get a bunny, and several people in the mall came up and told us about their bunnies.
They were both very well behaved during their outing, and charmed everyone who saw them.
Xuxu looks like such a happy, easygoing boy!
Greta looks like she is starting to like him but doesnât want to admit it yet.
No one has tried climbing the tree this year or even knocking down the low hanging ornaments.
Just chillinâ under the tree.
Just chillinâ on the stove.
Gas burners with a pilot light? I once had a old stove with that arrangement, and the cats would compete for the warm spot. Cooking required wiping the cat hair off first.
Yes, but originally we didnât have those covers.
This popped up in my feed from a couple years ago, we were trying to keep seizure kitty off my chair because she occasionally peed where she shouldnât. (there are pee pads under the cover)
Old man thought it was comfortable.
It is hard to give up the Alpha cat roleâŠ
I have already resigned myself to my position in the social pyramid of this house. I canât even watch TV anymore.
CatsâŠpyramidsâŠwhat could go wrong?
