Maybe Niña?
I think a spanish name would be appropriate and it would go with her mom’s name. Bonita ('Nita)? Leche since she’s white?
It it hot? The squirrels here in central Texas so that to cool off. They can only sweat thru their feet
Oh, it’s hot here. Maybe not Central Texas hot but Missouri summer hot and humid.
That’s an interesting fact about squirrels and sweating through their feet
Flat, I’d say
Thank you for posting this. I’ve been watching it and enjoying it.
And it doesn’t get dark at night, so there’s always something to see!
That there is a Puddle Puppy.
pound for pound, that hound is round!
Happy dog at start of day…
Until, “Where the feck did you get all those seeds!?”
Honestly, smothered in the bastard things, from nose to tail. An one-hour brush, some of which he enjoys, some of which he is all teeth.
When you live out in the country, a short, smooth coat is essential!
My last dog would look a mess, but within about 15-20 minutes all the mud would have sloughed off…and most of the stickle-burrs.
If/when I finally get another dog, that’s got to be one of the main requirements.
This bee took a ride on the sprayer for 5 minutes. Landed when I set it down but hung on while I carefully used it. Glad I saw them before I gripped in the usual place
little thing was thirsty!
i’ve had anoles do that and just hang on for the ride until a leaf is in range (and wet for a drink).
I don’t doubt it! It’s been so hot. I hope they got enough water. We keep a very dirty birth bath (bees like dirty water) nearby but it was mostly empty before I refilled it. Another cleaner water bath out front. Each with rocks inside so a bee can land and take a sip or climb out if they fall in. Rigged them to overfill a bit when the drip irrigation runs, to wash out mosquito eggs and give the mason bees mud to work with.
