“One of us is working the problem. The other one is my brother."
We’re looking after One of Six’s dog Charlie who is struggling to adjust to a post-lockdown world.
“Is that her? Is she here yet?”
Happily, he is one of hypo-allergenic types. I am allergic to most dogs. I think he gets this from the poodle influence.
To clarify: he is part Yorkshire Terrorist, part Poodle, part Sneaky Weasel.
Okay, I’ve gathered my favorites from suggestions above, so…
- Scooter
- Mewsette
- Suri
- Zelda
- Autumn
- Ripley

How come none of them have the worm then?
Probably the worms were sleeping after partying all the night…
Not a great pic, I had to surreptitiously use my phone, but 2 Pileated Woodpeckers came to visit while I was computing out on the porch yesterday:
Because burbs have an uncanny ability to know when people are taking pictures of them!
I can’t tell if you’re joking, but they and other little critters definitely seem to sense when they’re being observed! It is uncanny!
Oh, and I wasn’t fast enough to get a pic, but one of them landed up on the railing about 8’ behind me. Such cool birds.
I always have issues trying to take bird photos with my cell phone. They are so camera shy. They’re perfectly content in the bird bath with me walking around, but as soon as I lift up my cell phone to take a picture they fly right off. It’s pretty funny. (And I think they know that I know what they’re doing. )
That is why I’m super impressed by anyone who is able to get a picture of them, no matter how far away!
The birbs always know! Even when I try to sneak the phone around the corner
Lots of really good pictures in this topic above me. I missed a lot of them because of poor internet at the campground.
We let old deaf guy wander around the yard today. At one point he started to run but he got tired real fast.
And here’s one more of sick kitty just chillin’ in the RV.
Oh, what a beauty creature!
