I will never forget, after Roe was decided a friend of mine and I (both women) were talking about the Forced Birthers on an elevator. My friend say “who is going to take care of all those kids that the FB are so interested in?” A man riding with us said “I will” then he paused and added “After I finish my basement”. We kind of knew him and saw him around. Never heard a word about him adopting ANYONE, nor if his basement ever got finished.

Exactly how I think about it too.
What makes a human life valuable is a combination of its potential and the resources invested in it so far to bring it along as far as it’s come.
A blastula or embryo hasn’t built up enough of the second that it must be kept inviolate.
Holds at the other, end-of-life end of a lifetime as well

Has anyone tried attending one of these protests with a petition to ban Viagra and other ED medications? I mean it would certainly help prevent a lot of unwanted pregnancies. Right? Right?
