I waited until the other car left, then carefully drove home, watching in my rear view mirror the whole way. Of course I didn’t try to press charges. I wouldn’t want to give them reason to retaliate.

Cops doing that is just awful.
And yeah, I wouldn’t try chasing them with cops either.

I imagine that like LA, Chicago also has cop gangs. Maybe the ones following you were doing some kind of intiation rite.

Right, but that’s after they were so scared that they went to a police station and switched to a cab to try to throw off the paparazzi. I don’t know why the reporters would even quote that part without putting it into better context. It’s annoying.
