I haven’t set foot in a movie theater since pre-covid, and I don’t think that a popcorn cover that looks like a sphincter is going to entice me to go now.

Only in 2024 could someone claim that Slimer popcorn bucket is lackluster. I’m imagining anything remotely that cool being available when I was a kid and a huge fan of The Real Ghostbusters. I would’ve flipped my lid and I didn’t even like Slimer. By comparison, here’s someone’s photo of an actual Ghostbusters 2 promotion from the time, special plastic meal boxes from Hardees:

ETA: Also, apparently the popcorn bucket costs $27. In other words, ABSOLUTELY FREE with the purchase of a small movie theater popcorn!
