Quick way to clean stove burner grates with ammonia and plastic bags

You lost me at ammonia and plastic bags—just can’t get past the smell and the image.

Actually, having acetic acid fumes nearby (warm up a pan of vinegar) nearby will neutralize the ammonia’s odour and effect.

/old darkroom trick.

Washing soda is the bestest most inexpensive grease-remover I’ve ever found. A box is like $5 and will last ages. Hot water and that will even do that gross film on the top of kitchen cabinets. Plus it’s environmentally-friendly, so yayz.

This works great on BBQ Grills. That hadn’t been cleaned. In three years.

(other then being slightly dirty…free Weber!)
