I read a great, but probably self-published and apparently too-obscure-for-google book once called “How to Build a UFO” in which the author did a good job of explaining how to make stonehenge and the great pyramids using technology that existed at the time. Rather than being mysterious, it’s just really simple engineering.

What was great about the book was that at the end of each chapter he’d go off into pure insanity. While he could easily explain how to get those rocks up to stonehenge using ropes, he was pretty sure they levitated the rocks using sonic resonance. The chapter on how to actually build a flying saucer was great, as was on the one where he explained how he knew humans were originally from Mars.

He was a believer in aliens, magical-to-our-eyes powers of the ancients, time travel, and all kinds of other things, but he was super dismissive of everyone who agreed with him about those things. My favourite bit was when he said something to the effect of: “People who have seen alien spacecraft often say they operate using some kind of anti-gravity device, but anything that moves you further from the earth is an anti-gravity device. An airplane is an anti-gravity device, a hot air balloon is an anti-gravity device, a step ladder is an anti-gravity device.”

The conservative (and predominantly republican) religious right in America, is concerned about what bathroom a transgender person uses. They need to be concerned about the following bizarre, peculiar and odd scriptures contained within the Bible of Christianity and Tanakh of Judaism.

So could someone explain to me how the “African-Kemetic mythology” made its way to Central and South America in order for those civilizations to have managed to build even more pyramids, many at the same or even greater height, as the Egyptians?

This is something you may want to be aware of–and take note of, as it occurred in 1970.

On May 17, 1970, Norwegian ethnologist Thor Heyerdahl and a multinational crew set out from Morocco across the Atlantic Ocean in Ra II, a papyrus sailing craft modeled after ancient Egyptian sailing vessels. Heyerdahl was attempting to prove his theory that Mediterranean civilizations sailed to America in ancient times and exchanged cultures with the people of Central and South America. The Ra II crossed the 4,000 miles of ocean to Barbados in 57 days.

When Columbus sailed across the Atlantic, he departed from Africa, specifically the well known departure point, the Canary Islands, located off the west coast of the African country of Morroco. People lie about the geographical location of the Canary Islands citing Spain–however the geographical location of the Canary Islands is off the west coast of Africa, specifically Morroco.

Once a sailing ship is far enough out into the Atlantic Ocean off the west coast of Africa, specifically Morroco, there are strong trade winds and currents.

I don’t understand your choice of wording. “I may want to be aware of”? And “take note of”? Why? Are you suggesting thousands of Egyptians traveled by reed boat to South America to build pyramids? If not, then what does it matter that his second attempt showed it was possible for small boats to make it across the Atlantic under certain optimal conditions?

Are you willing to consider the possibility that other ancient civilizations were also very advanced, despite not being “Kemetic”? Or is your contention that no one on this planet ever did anything until Sub-Saharan African people taught them how? Or what? What is your end game?

While a trip from Africa to S. America is possible even with ancient technology, there’s no evidence the Egyptians ever made it to East Africa, and their seafaring trips on the Mediterranean were east-bound towards the more advanced and wealthier civilizations that they traded with, rather than west-bound towards places there would have been little to no point in visiting. So some East-African cultures could have made it across the Atlantic, but they wouldn’t have been Egyptian.

More significantly, after Heyerdahl’s trip, genetic analysis shows that South Americans are descended from (perhaps a few) populations that ultimately migrated across the Bering Straits from Asia.

The Meso-American pyramids also aren’t that old. The earliest is maybe 200 AD, during the time of Roman Egypt, and most are much later. So even if there was some cultural influence it’s hard to explain why they’d hold onto the pyramid building idea for many, many centuries before taking a crack at it. And these new people showed up and demonstrated technology to the locals, and the locals got really interested in pyramids, but didn’t find bronze or the wheel an interesting idea?

Additionally the Meso-American pyramids are not in South America, but Central and North America. So the seafarers would have made a dangerous seafaring trip, then trekked for >3000 miles overland?

Finally, a pyramid is an obvious and simple design for a large structure since the weight distribution makes it stable. The Sumerians were building Ziggurats before the Egyptians were building pyramids, but it’s reasonable to assume it’s because they both found the structure worked for monumental buildings, rather than that the Egyptians were borrowing from their neighbors. It’s just as reasonable to assume the Meso-Americans independently developed the idea.
