“I’m too busy running for President” seems like the absolute worst reason to be offered to get out of some obligation. Running for President has got to be something that can only be undertaken once all other obligations are taken care of, and has to be fit in around any new obligations. Otherwise the only people you’re going to get running are the dipshits like TFG and Vivek, who have no conscience about blowing off real obligations to pursue an ego-pumping run that really only highlights to smart people how unfit they are to run anything on behalf of the citizenry.
