My understanding is that patching potholes incorrectly leads them to become worse in the long run. But! still, these are cool, & the artist is a talented& skilled mosaicist. It looks like the combo of glass-stone-concrete is not up to Chicago traffic & weather conditions. Maybe the artist could get a grant to do something more durable.
