Wait, isn’t the entire food chain contaminated with plastic?

The shame they have brought to the good and decent name of fritters, frankly I’m concerned.

Rumor would have it that Tyson are also the people who make Aldi’s “Kirkwood”-brand chicken products, including these: WYNGZ* (*contains no wing meat)

(ETA: Oh hey, look, Tyson is Kirkwood, based on this other chicken recall from a month ago “due to potential presence of foreign material, specifically pieces of metal.”)

I still can’t believe someone made “Malk” a real thing.

What’s the difference between a set of things being chunks and a set of things being chunk-shaped?

The plant number is in the USDA inspection label, the label that indicates that no one but the end user is inspecting the product for contamination.

Some frantic worker probably dropped their water bottle in the chicken machine gun: https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2018/10/16/trump-team-makes-controversial-change-allow-chicken-plants-operate-faster-speeds/

Tyson was in Channel 4’s Dispatches episode on chlorinated chickens last week. Anyone in the UK is free to watch: https://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/on-demand/68769-001

Yup…

…and that’s a conservative estimate. We’re not just eating it either, we’re also drinking and breathing it. Happy days!

I really fail to understand BoingBoing’s hate of food.

Yup…we factory farm chicken, beef, and pork…and BACON.

And yup…we turn those chicken bits into shapes.
And those Morning Star Farm veggie burgers come off of similar factories.

Boing Boing should be proud of the science and technology that goes into the food industry of extracting every single edible molecule of a chicken.

And transforming it into shapes with organic binders.

Heck. If Thomas Keller or Grant Achatz did at the French Laundry, Per Se, or Alinea…it’d be the best thing ever…as a ‘reconstructed chicken nugget’.

A chunk is a single piece of a larger thing

Chunk-shaped is something much more malleable formed to make it look like a chunk.

Good bless pink-goo chicken-based chunk-shaped imitation foods
