It’s legal in so many places now, my in-laws never visit anymore
I don’t have to drive | to Ann Arbor no more
Finally a reason to travel to Ohio.
oh show me , please show me
the way to the next
dispensary ~
oooohhhh don’t take long !
oh don’t be long !
michigan , morenci et al , is still wayyyyy cheaper !
30 $ oz of high quality shake
compared to ohio $ 24 for an ohio " tenth " or 2.83 grams
This might just save a lot of family farms. And NRCS field office staffs will have to bone up, you know, do some research … to help farmers plan new strategies and get new crop information, and such.
I’d be interested to know what the going rate is for weed across the country.
Here in Virginia, even though they legalized it years ago, there’s still no way to legally buy recreational marijuana, so I have to cross into Maryland to buy.
The current rate is about $100 for 14g or half an oz with tax.
I’m not a weed smoker, but that this is still criminal in places is…criminal. Alcohol and cigarettes are far worse.
I buy flower by the gram in Michigan, and usually pay $6 - $12/gram.
ETA: Although, I think I need to look into this!
More like O-high-o - amiright?
Old and busted - The Bible Belt
New Hotness - The Sober Belt
(Looks at map)
Texas! Sober?
Have you seen who’s running the place?
Here in Wisconsin we’ve voted in favor of it at least twice that I can recall. (Unbinding referendum, of course, and an interesting example of an actual nonpartisan vote as the citizens are overwhelmingly in favor of it regardless of their party affiliation.)
You’ll notice, of course, that we’re still not one of the states where it’s legal. Apparently our GOP legislators are too busy trying to eliminate child labor laws so young teens can work in bars and sawmills.
Good thing I work in and date people in Illinois!
Indiana has no legal (medical or otherwise), and CBD oil has to be THC-free.
Hah!
Do they still have dry counties? Like 20 years ago that was still a thing and I was shocked.

it varies so much now. The range for an ounce of flower in CO is $70-$200, but that $200 dollar ounce is the stuff right off the cover of high times. You can get an ounce of shake for $40-$50. My prices are probably a bit high, go into Denver outright and it gets cheaper. Personally I buy 510 live resin cartridges for ~$35-45 a pop, they last a few weeks.
I say this like I’m telling secrets, but you can browse the selection online. Here’s the three biggest in CO (I think)

Also the Westword has the city’s deals, which would probably interest people in other places:
One thing to note here, that there’s a couple of locally-owned huge warehouse places in Denver, but there’s no local farmers in the weed market here anymore. Anyone local sold their stake in the market and moved on. The money losers that are hanging on are putting lottery ticket machines and going “local liquor store vibe” to stay in business. The local dispensary I go to has been sold three times that I know of, and it’s a franchise now.
Yep, it’s still a thing, but becoming less common.
It’s more of a pita to deal with than anything else.
But the liquor stores on the outskirts make a killing.
Maybe more like the Orange Belt, since it’s the opposite of green?
