I’m Gen X and I only played BF 2 after it was like 10 years old? I think millennials were kids when it came out, with some gamer Gen Xers also being into it.

Speaking of us tail end baby boomers, I was reading about the whole labeling various generation trends and learned about Generation Jones.

Apparently it refers to people born between 1954 and 1965.

Some guy coined the term back in 1999. Learn something new every day.

I’m at the older end of Millennials and I was just scrapping into my 20s when the first one came out, so, yep that’s about right.

In pop culture, Homer Simpson is (or perhaps was given the retcons) Generation Jones – they are the people of the 1970s. Note that Homer has claimed that music peaked in 1974. This is in contrast with the “classical” boomers who obsessed over the 1960s.
