I haven’t seen the animated series, but have been checking out the hardback collections from the library and just lavishing in the unironic, uncoolified romantic-medievalness of them.

I have a folder of pics I took of the page spreads and individual panels as studies/inspiration for later projects. I didn’t take any of the full face panels, but those are pretty glorious too, just for existing. I also love the how the faces all look like they have movie makeup on.
