Yeah, that’s not how this works. You can’t just declare yourself equal and opposite to the squad. Their particular magic happened organically and is based on shared goals and mutual respect you couldn’t even begin to understand. Stop trying to make this a thing. It’s like those attempts at conservative humour, it just doesn’t work.

Trump’s former campaign manager Brad Parscale compared his re-election campaign to the Death Star. The campaign referred to Trump as Thanos. Trump has compared himself to Bane and the White Walkers in Game of Thrones. I detect a theme here.

And just like X-Men villains the republicans espouse their shared values:

Peace was never an option

Anytime that the words “God” and “Freedom” are used in the same statement, the actual meaning is exactly the opposite of freedom. The American Taliban continues to attempt to flex it’s muscles.

they will combat the “evil” of socialism and Marxism.

These fuckwits really have not got the first clue what socialism and Marxism are if they think the ‘squad’ espouses those ideologies.

we have a group of people who believe in our country, believe in God, family, respect for women and authority, and another group who hates everything I just mentioned

One doesn’t have a great deal of hope for a group that begins by making a statement that is demonstrably false.

Just cleaning that up for them. Wouldn’t want anyone thinking the respect just any women, or believe in any old God…

The only reason to say this is as a way of accusing somebody else of “hating America”

Freedom Force was also a pretty fun computer game from the early 00s.

And his supporters also imagined him as Homelander, so yes.

“Freedom Force” was also a Tony Stark team in the Civil War storyline - included Challenger, Cloud 9, Equinox, the aptly named “Think Tank” (basically a brain in a jar), Spinner and Equinox (who later turned out to be a Skrull). There was also an Image comics version, which looks like the 80’s video game to me; and a DC comics version which included Isis, Hercules, Sinbad, Merlin and the “Super Samurai”. In any case, I think we can all agree its’ a terrible, terrible, generic name; but not necessarily the bad guy Marvel team - although I’d agree it’s the first that comes to mind.

I thought it would be “The Hellfire Club”…

I still sing, “Nu-clear Win-ter!” in my best baritone (Hmmm… now I want to create sonic-based character called, Barry Tone).

"… hard left… "

When you are so far in to the Racist Libertarian Wilderness that Centre Right appears to be hard left.

I’ve been saying this for a while but always bears repeating, the Republican strategy seems to be turn everything into a college football game-like atmosphere, say one thing and mean exactly the opposite. Idiots follow because you know they’re racist!

Every time one of these jerks mentions how into god they are and the other side isn’t, I just want to crawl in a corner and scream/disappear. Or wish they would just disappear

What a bunch of severely entitled jackoffs
