So what I’m getting from this is that the difference between him and his fellow Republican congresscritters is that, unlike the rest of them, he at least eventually understands it was a bad idea to spread Russian propaganda and has the basic decency to get embarrassed about it.
He understands that it’s a bad idea to get caught spreading Russian propaganda. Getting caught is the cardinal sin for Republicans, attempted cover-ups their first instinctual reaction when it happens.
