A source familiar with the matter said the revelations about Robinson include him saying things in online forums about liking transgender porn, peeping inside women’s locker rooms while he was a student at North Carolina A&T State University and verbalizing wanting to own slaves.
Figures that’s probably the part that worries them the most rather than all the nonconsensual stuff.
- BREAKING
In a new video, North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson confirms that there is a CNN story coming about him and things he may have said in the past.
In the video he compares himself to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and says he’s staying in the race.
Well, that ought to clear up all the allegations that he’s somehow unfit for office.
Sorry Republicans, you gonna have to carry that baby to term.
This initial leak doesn’t sound worse than anything else we know about the guy (or a lot of their other candidates). He’s behind in the polls as is, I wonder if the GOP was just trying to get him booted so he doesn’t drag down the rest of the ticket in NC. He seems like he could mobilize some people to vote specifically against him who might not vote otherwise.
Yeah, the presidential race is basically a dead heat there right now and every vote matters, so I’m sure that the GOP is willing to sacrifice this guy if they think he’ll be even a slight drag on Trump’s chances. I’ve seen the term “reverse coattails effect” used in a couple of political news articles and that was before this latest scandal started making news.
And there it is…
Wow. The guy’s only a Nazi because the Klan wouldn’t have him:
Given what the man has already said, none of this is the least surprising. Odd he seems to think himself a plurality
“This is not us. These are not our words. And this is not anything that is characteristic of me,” Robinson said.
“We are not getting out of this race. There are people who are counting on us to win this race,” Robinson said.
What kind of shriveled soul could see that memorial and not be touched and moved?
That is art with power.
The same kind that’s already on the record with Facebook posts going back many years repeatedly criticizing King and the entire civil rights movement. As others have said, this is not at all a surprise or out of character for him.
This stuff was well known about him before he got his party’s nomination. He won the GOP primary because of this bullshit, not in spite of it:
obvious, but an inferior pastor and a communist… and so what?
his accomplishments, leadership and vision are what mattered.
Wow, there really is no loathing like self-loathing.
Robinson:
“Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves. I wish they would bring it back. I would certainly buy a few.”
Ohhhh, my brother (Ed.: Not. Even. Remotely), you think you’d be a leopard when you would in fact be a face.
