Needs some Olde English lyrics.

TBH, I am slightly disappointed that the link went to the actual medieval instruments video and was not a regular rickroll.

Not to be too dweeby, but the closest thing to a medieval instrument in that video is the recorder. The stringed instruments are a lute-shaped guitar and what might be an octave mandolin or Irish bouzouki, depending on strings and tuning. Fine for Renaissance Faire stuff but hardly “authentic historical instruments” territory.

I was going to post a similar comment, so it’s not too dweeby. Well, I guess it is dweeby but take heart in the fact that you’re not the only music dweeb here. Needs some vielles and shawms and stuff.

Hurdy gurdy or gtfo
