He enjoyed a long and successful career as a TV actor, appearing on General Hospital, The Outer Limits, Mister Roberts, Mannix, Adam-12, The F.B.I., and The Streets of San Francisco, among others.
Some working actors are so beloved by the industry that, at a certain point, an informal decision is reached that they’ll never lack for work. Tata must have been a heckuva good guy and trouper to achieve that status.
