Same thing happened in Lompoc, CA a while back. They misspelled “SLOW” there too.
How did I know this was in Britain before I even read the story?
Too shcool for cool.
That was the artist’s signature.
It’s “reading, 'riting, and 'rithmetic” not “reading, painting, and 'rithmetic”!
Maybe it provides a valuable lesson for the kids.
Not a spelling lesson, necessarily . . . but something.
Note that the word underneath SHCOOL should be YSGOL, but it looks like YSOOL, but that is not this set of contractors’ fault.
