Krieger’s autobiography, Set the Night on Fire, is a good read if you’re a Doors fan. Krieger is surprisingly forthcoming about drug use and other unflattering things about himself. It’s “well-written” in the I-had-professional-help sense.

I hope when I’m 76 I have a group of friends like that who will come over and do a few of my favorite things. It wasn’t the Doors but it was fun.

I totally love the Doors. Really.

But have these guys done ANYTHING else in their lives but talk about how they used to be in The Doors?
