What is with that shirt? I thought it was a grey sweater over a blue and white striped shirt (all over another dark blue shirt), but the grey is the same garment as the blue & white stripes (as seen at the shoulder seam). I… I… I’m just so confused…

Brilliant bit of musical history and lore.

I love hearing how such enduring classics like this came to be and what went in to them.

I miss the days when music was music and not just a bunch of samples and autotuned people who cannot sing or play.

And, I never would have guessed that “Riders on the Storm” was based in “Ghost Riders in the Sky.” Who knew?

Me! I first heard both of those songs on the radio back in the surreal days of childhood when my brain was still super-flexible and I had a hell of a time trying to keep them distinct in my mind if I wasn’t actively listening to one or the other. Even the names blended together — “Ghost Riders on the Storm”
