I prefer the Jimmy Page solo on Donovan’s “Hurdy Gurdy Man.” He’s on the whole track but blooms into full psychedelia at 1:50 or so.

isn’t Jimmy Page’s daughter named Scarlet? anyway, i like this period of the Stones, right after they met Gram Parsons. they got looser and more country-tinged. i’m going to have to listen to this a bit more to decide how i feel about it, but it definitely has that Goat’s Head Soup era feel to it.
