I try to avoid .ru TLDs. I’d love to see a screenshot, though.
So, site hacked or breaking down under traffic and revealing a joke placed there by internal developers? Any guesses (or actual knowledge)?
ETA -I do appreciate the levity and it is a great error message that I would never have known about otherwise. Just wondering if this is evidence of someone hacking/pranking Russian mil sites in response to the invasion or traffic/DOS attacks causing an error message placed there internal developers. I guess it could also be a snarky way of mil dot ru “saying fuck off, we are busy right now”
I have no idea but do enjoy the internet while we have it. It’s going to be grim.

Ukraine’s port city of Mariupol is under heavy fire with reports of hundreds of explosions, a diplomatic source has told Reuters news agency.
Mariupol is one of the biggest Ukrainian ports on the Azov Sea and is located near a frontline held by Russian-backed separatists in the Donetsk region - which Vladimir Putin has recognised as an independent state.
Taking Mariupol would help Russia secure a direct land route to Crimea, the Ukrainian peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014.
P.S. Mariupol is the temporary capital of Donetsk Oblast. Russia recognises the whole of Donetsk Oblast as the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic, so from the Russian perspective Mariupol is occupied by Ukraine and in need of liberation.
In small news, a friend has family along the highway from Lviv to Khmelnytskyi, and says “No Russians yet.”
“Goofed.” “Oooops.”
The Czech president, Miloš Zeman, has issued an unequivocal condemnation of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in a dramatic volte face that won widespread praise and surprised his detractors, writes Robert Tait.
In a televised address, Zeman - who has gained a reputation for being an ally and admirer of Vladimir Putin - called the Russian president Vladimir Putin “a madman” and admitted he had been wrong to dismiss the prospects of an invasion of Ukraine. He called for sweeping sanctions in response, including the expulsion of Russia from the Swift international banking system.
Tens of thousands of Ukrainians are fleeing or preparing to flee the country with videos and photos on social media showing lines of cars moving out of cities and heading west, as well as an increase of people on foot near the southern and western borders while reports of casualties mount.
We spoke to Maria Romanenko and Alena Dalskaya-Latosiewicz from their cars as they tried to escape the conflict, as well as Romeo Kokriatski a Ukrainian-American, who says he hopes to stay in the capital, Kyiv, for as long as possible.
Worried about an escalation of violence in europe’s eastern borders that now possibly include nuclear material floating in the skies for weeks?
Don’t because we have the best man on the ground to look out for the world
From the BBC liveblog:
In his remarks at the White House, President Biden also said that he believes Vladimir Putin “has much larger ambitions” that go far beyond Ukraine’s borders.
“He wants to, in fact, re-establish the former Soviet Union,” Biden said. “That’s what this is about”.
“His ambitions are completely contrary to the place where the rest of the world has arrived,” he added.
Additionally, Biden said that sanctions against Putin personally “are still on the table” as a possible option in addition to those already announced against Russia’s economy and several individuals and entities.

They can keep him. We don’t need him back.

Russia wouldn’t want him.
