Does it remove all the stuff that already hidden (trackers, cookies, etc.)?

Wow. Kinda soothing.
When I shut my Facebook account down all those years ago (can’t remember how many, about 5 I think) the Captcha it proved I was human with was the word “Treacherous”. I didn’t realise irony could be stacked so high.

Is someone able to explain to a technological illiterate why the Safebook extension would need to access my browser history to work? (The pop-up asks for permission to view browser history as a condition of installation.)
