They really ought to. I’d love to see both the real San Dimas High and the real San Dimas landmark Raging Waters park (called “Waterloo” in the movie) featured.

Aha! I was about to say, “actually,” but then I learned St. Dimas is just an alternate spelling of St. Dysmas, patron saint of thieves. Did the writers ever cash in on this opportunity?

on a recent trip driving east out of LA along the old route 66, i was driving past San Dimas, and took a detour to track down the Circle K. There actually is one! Unfortunately it’s not the one filmed in the movie. Looks like it was mostly filmed in Arizona: https://sites.google.com/site/80sfilmlocations/Film-List/bill-ted-s-excellent-adventure-1987

Came here for this. Thank you, good sir!

I heard about the movie being mostly shot in Arizona too but from a dead mall video

I will admit to you, anonymous internet friends, that… when ever I have driven through San Dimas (which has not been too frequently) I raise my fist and yell: SANDIMASHIGHSCHOOLFOOTBAL RULES!!
