OK, heated water vapor. Like, say, a kettle that is boiling, which emits – visible vapor.

You should tell that to people who steam for health reasons, be it hot showers, steam baths, or the good old fashioned:

Not to mention nebulizers, which asthmatics use to inhale a steamy brew of chemicals.

WTF? Yes, nicotine is highly addictive and has health consequences on its own, but like with alcohol and weed it should generally be up to the adult individual to decide which psychoactive substances to put into their body.

Enforce sales bans to minors, regulate advertising, tax it, ban vaping in public places - there are many valid ways of discouraging usage, and these are all worth exploring. Banning the sale of vaping utensils is not one of them.

That’s as may be. Some dictionaries show “infectious disease” in the main entry, some do not.

My point still applies. Those who choose to become heroin addicts are often viewed as “victims who need help” whereas those who choose to become nicotine addicts are often viewed as “assholes”.

It’s actually more akin to inhaling fog-machine vapor. Mostly propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin.
