The dude could literally pay $40K for those 800 jobs himself and see very little negative outcome of the loss of $32mil.
I wish the working class had a better understanding of what a difference the major milestone salaries are, and the distance between someone making $100K a year becoming a millionaire and the true sub-1% in the world. It’s nearly impossible that a man who spends your household’s yearly salary on a single night in a hotel suite is anything like you even if he eats taco salad and fried chicken.

Right on. Until recently we had a two-dimensional Congress divided between Democrats and Republicans. Now both parties have (for a lack of a better term) populist wings that share points of agreement with the other, and contention with the establishment. The prospect of a unified Republican government is naturally horrifying, but in practice it may become more bi-partisan than it was before, with the populists functioning as a de facto third party.
And if that happens Donald Trump may credit it to his “art of the deal” finesse, but I suspect that his presidency is going to become such an embarrassment that the door will be wide open to progressive waves in 2020 and 2022 (when redistricting comes into effect).

You nailed right there! This started with that wretched old piece of shit Reagan and the damage he did to education. Keeping people away from education helps keep them away from diversity. They only trust what they know and they only know rich old white bastards to tell them who they need to hate and fear. In terms of strategy it was a damn good move on their part. And for the determined kids who pushed past the restrictions on education, they got crippled with horrific debt to punish them for trying to become better. republican mentality will reduce us to 3rd world status where Bosses pick their loyal workers and unions died long ago.
