Also, police officers abusing women often takes the form of sexual assault. It’s a lot less visible than a corpse. I think it’s important to emphasize that. I have too many friends (and heck, they’re not even POCs) who have been threatened of rape by officers while in police custody. We need to talk about the woman who actually get raped by the police.
