The Kyiv Independent seems to be reliable and has been vetted by outlets like the Globe & Mail, Canada’s national newspaper.

I’m finding that they are reporting many things about 24 hours before the Western news sources, but the fact that the Western sources are reporting the same things kind of confirms the reliability of the site.

Ad revenue on the internet is a muddy mess. I suggest a follow of nandoodles on twitter, who works to point out when ads are supporting Nazis and other bad actors, it seems that she has been having some effect.
