Are druids sufficiently shamanic?
Druids? What do we know about Druids in Scotland that wasn’t written by the invading and conquering Romans, specifically Julius Caesar?
Outside the Roman accounts our best view of them is that an ancient Indo-European priesthood split laterally in to the Hindu Brahman in the East and the Celtic Druid in the West which doesn’t seem to fit with the Shamanistic narrative. Likely they were priests of some sort and not shaman.
