It’s little things like this that end up becoming ubiquitous and making the future look as it does. Very cool.
It’s very cool to be sure; albeit it’ll probably require a rather specialized yet-new-adapter to get the data into the computer. USB-P? which can supply enough high voltage to span 210 × 297 mm worth of fairly high resistance tribosensitized fluorinated paper. anyway… imagine the kids’ book potential with a mickey mouse shaped plug (“eh! what don’t you get about ‘self-powered’!?” oh… yet still have to debounce some twitchy waveforms before it sparks about my posh motherboard somehow)

They coated the paper with polytetrafluoroethylene, but maybe that can be changed.
