Sesame Street does Star Wars

How could the copyright lawyers have overlooked this?

aren’t they both owned by Disney?

There’s tons of these parodies on Sesame Street these days – even The Hunger Games (with Cookie Monster cross-dressing as Cookieness Evereat), Les Mis, (with CM as Jean Bon-Bon), etc. Obviously they go over the heads of the kids, but I guess the parents are amused.

They’ve always been good at that. Back in the 70s, it was Monsterpiece Theatre - with Alestair Cookie.

Seems like their effects are a whole lot more impressive than they were back then.
