I feel I’m on top again, baby
That’s got everything to do with you-hoo-hoo
When I first heard The Stone Roses I thought “Hey that sounds just like Love and Rockets”.
Much love for David J. Not only for his seminal work with Bauhaus and its progeny, but for one of my favorite albums of all time, his 1985 solo album “Crocodile Tears and the Velvet Cosh.”
My greatest David J related regret is that I’ve never been able to find a copy of the occult stuff he did with Alan Moore. I stumbled on an MP3 of one of the tracks (An Enochian Angel of the 7th Aethyr), and have never been able to find the rest of it.
I was just at a wedding David J officiated. I have to say he was spectacular.
