I’ve noticed that posts from @boingboingshop are no longer appearing in the BBS.
While many of us love to dunk on these posts with snark and indignation, the comments section can also provide a public service. Good products can be praised (yes, it happens), bad products can be called out, and really terrible ones can be reported and delisted. I’ve often seen really interesting discourse on these topics.
But I can also understand if there’s no appetite to risk pissing off a revenue stream and ameliorating this by simply disallowing comments entirely.
In any event I was curious if this was intentional or not.
