Silver dollar herb grinder

I hope you poured away the methyl alcohol first.

If it was in the beaker, we drank it. It tasted like poison. But hey, high school!

Not so much vile, as very volatile. Taste wise, I’ve had worse.

Cut to 50% with RO H2O and add a pinch of citric acid for flavour, OTOH, it’s quite drinkable in a lemony glass-cleaner way.

We used a chewing gum stick, macerated it in the alcohol to extract the flavor.

Cool! It will go great with my hollowed out silver dollar for, ah, that white powdered, ah, “seasoning” I had from the 1970’s.

There was a 40% silver “collectors” strike done by the mint. So, technically not a “silver dollar” as much as a “silver clad dollar”.

Uh, I looked all over Williams Sonoma for one of these.

But on a more serious note.

In case you dont know, many of these herb grinders do have pollen catchers as @funruly pointed out. Its surprising how many people with grinders don’t know about this and are sitting on a pile of the sweetest part of the plant. Lore has it that if you add a coin to the top of the screen it will enhance the accumulation of pollen in the catch.
