We have one of those. It’s called Little Kidd’s room.
Except for some new and updated minifigs there isn’t much of a difference between the 2008 and 2016 models.
I’ve got the 2008 one and as far as play sets go it’s pretty cool. (There’s some pretty uninteresting and outright bad ones; looking at you Assault on Hoth.) I’m not sure where the pricing is coming from though as I’m pretty sure that the 2008 model was in the $400-$500 range and not half the price of the new one.
