Snake escapes, kills children in apartment above pet shop

New Moon in Hydra: Snake ‘strangles two children’. http://bit.ly/186TYk2

A slightly more local version of the story:

I’ll be there in a few days. It’ll be a weird service call…

It’s percentages you need to look at, not just numbers.

Also, I’m betting you’d find statistically higher amounts of shitty pet owners/parents than mankilling dogs.

Ack! Seriously? Now I’m going to have nightmares…and it’s not even 9:00am yet!

Really folks, gonna swallow this crap story whole? Two small boys who often sleep over at an unrelated neighbors house ‘mysteriously’ strangled? Snake blamed even though no one except the unrelated adult saw it and ‘captured’ the snake before calling police?! What is more likely- adult killed children and tries to cover it up or two small children strangled by snake without waking up nor making any noise?

Come on man! Next thing you know you’ll be suggesting that dozens of toddlers don’t suffocate from plastic cups that are somehow able to attach themselves to their faces like satanic suction cups or alien facehuggers, not to mention the national epidemics of children dying in the trunks of cars where there are suddenly 4 cases in a week.

Here’s some info about the snake species:

Wow, per that article if the snake is one of the meanest out there, and it can take down warthogs and antelopes… seems credible.

Maybe the children were sleeping in the same bed? Not that unusual for siblings that young.

I’d be unsurprised if a snake is better at executing a silent compression-kill than a human. And very surprised if the local PD are going to pass up the chance to look for anything on the bodies consistent with more human-induced suffocation.
