The program Djay pro has been doing realtime AI (that’s what they call it, not sure what technique they are using) stem separation for years. They even have an app that works just like this one.
This isn’t an ad, it’s just me posting as a dj that uses their products.

The best stem separating algorithm I’ve come across so far is DeepRemix by Hit’n’Mix and Izotope’s Music Rebalance tool. Anybody know of any others that are in that league, I’d be interested to try it.
