Pretty much all of Star Trek: The Next Generation’s attempts at aging its cast were way off the mark. Granted, if they’d accurately depicted what Patrick Stewart would look like 20 years later no one would have believed them anyway.

Well, that’s pretty much bullshit. Keep painting with a broad brush though. It helps us all.
I’m gonna be optimistic and say, at minimum, a few months.
To be fair, Jean Luc was supposed to be a fair bit older than Patrick Stewart was at the time, making the actor now only a bit older than the character was when the show ended. So they’re projecting what he’ll look like in another 15 years or so? Except he looks pretty much the same as he did 20 years ago, so…

In one iteration of their spin-doctoring, Southwest acknowledged that there had been a brief ‘disagreement’ between the flight crew and some customers.
Yeah, the Arabic-speaking passengers felt that they had rights … and the Southwest Airlines staff disagreed.

Not necessarily. 
You’d be shocked at how many queer, and alternative folks, work for the DoD in a financial capacity. There is a lot of super conservative xenophobic kinds of folks there, but it depends on what area of the country you are in.
