Wow. That one’s a favourite from my backyard - I like the unusual “V” shape of the nebula. It looks a lot more like the other wikipedia pic when I see it.

Not long ago Virgin Galactic was aggressively recruiting engineers, and several of my coworkers left my company to work for them. I wonder how many of them regret that decision today.
Their design was an interesting concept but was always inherently limited in what it could do, so it’s seemed apparent for years that they would have trouble attracting enough rich tourists to maintain the kind of launch cadence needed to make a profit. I don’t hold out much hope for the company’s survival.
