Or a Hilsch vortex tube.
You know, my grandfather and father used to tell that joke all the time when we went fishing in Minnesota and Wisconsin, but I never heard the punchline until I was over 30.
Sounds like that thing would be a real rip off.
Can Lid + Epoxy + Allen Wrench = $5 version of this that I can put on my DeWilt and spin the ever loving BEJESUS out of the soda. Itâs a funny enough image I may do thisâŚ
The epoxy may not work that well.
A better bet may be taking a 5 (6?) mm hex stock, machining its end to round, and cutting a thread. Then holding it to place with nuts.
Or taking a screwdriver bit and a connection nut (that long kind), insert the âbusiness endâ of the bit into the nut, weld it in place. (Good way to recycle a chewed-beyond-repair bit.) Then use a short bolt to attach the nut to the lid, and use the hex end of the bit for the screwdriver. You can also use those bits with a narrowed spot in the shank that allows the bit to be held in the chuck, to avoid it slipping out.
Cools about 300 cans. This is for times when you donât have a cooler big enough for 300 cans.
So, you have a box of ice, you have cans, wouldnât the normal thing to do be to put the cans in the box of ice???
But its portable! I was about to buy a refrigerator that would spin all my cans of shitty beer until they were cold and explosive, but now I can do it anywhere I can carry a cooler!
Could it, would it with a tank?
Could you fill it with a crank?
