Nice! I’m an OS X user, and as soon as you posted this I went to Google and discovered that SoX exists. Installed.

I need to figure out how to add random beeps and boops for when I’m bridge-dwelling mood. :wink:

ThinkGeek never takes down the pages for their April Fool’s Day products. They just stay up there. Only if you try to click the “buy” button does it make it clear that it was a joke.

Of course, they’ve made several previous “jokes” into real products after sufficient consumer demand. The Star Trek White Noise Machine seems to be 2016’s “You’d better f***in’ make this, ThinkGeek” product, as far as the interwebs are concerned.

All things being equal, I personally prefer the 12 hour Enterprise-D engineering ambience (complete with warp core pulsing)
